NEWS FROM HUDLAND

Steve is currently working with his longtime producer/engineer buddy Gary Greer at Austin Trax on songs for the upcoming EP by Hud's hard rock side project, The Cool Losers (Joe Eddy Hines, guitar; Scott Esbeck, bass & vocals; Keith Robinson - drums).

Steve started recording overdubs for his long-awaited solo Americana record at Austin's 5am Studios during February. Hud finished recording basic tracks for ten new songs last summer with guitarist Rich Brotherton (Robert Earl Keen, Jane Bond, Green Cards), bassist Scott Esbeck (Charlie Robison, Jack Ingram, Los Straitjackets) and drummer Keith Robinson (Charlie Robison, Marcia Ball). Steve split engineering duties with his former Farmers House Studio partner Nick Dotin and Phil Hill. Hats off to everyone at Bruce Robison's Premium Recording Studio for a fantastic experience.
